Sony is drastically improving PS4 party chat soon

It’s all part of a new PS4 preview program, which Sony says will allow for the aforementioned increase, as well as “improved audio quality and network connectivity....

The Division 2 gets its first raid tomorrow, will be the first non-matchmaking activity

This whole game was built on matchmaking The Division 2is getting a sizable patch this week to make room for its first raid tomorrow (Operation Dark Hours) and it’s causing quite the uproar. The game’s eight-player activity will be patched in on May 16, and will be the first activity in the game that does not allow matchmaking on arrival. This is significant because part ofDivision 2‘s whole appeal, contrary toDestiny 2, was that every activity supported matchmaking....

Weekend Destructainment: Zap me, sweetheart

Since it’s CES time, I thought I would point out this promotional ad forMega Man 3at CES some years back. Destructainment keeps on rolling after the break with the damnNinja Gaidenbird. Then it’s theTetrisdance. Next is a guitar cover of Zangief’s stage....

Which version of Fire Emblem Fates should you get?

It’s straightforward So a lot of people have asked “which version ofFire Emblem Fatesshould I get?” and I think that’s a valid question, mostly because Nintendo has done a poor job at explaining the delivery system. Thischeeky chart from Nintendois also basically marketing tool. The answer is actually very straightforward. If you lovedAwakening, and don’t care so much about the challenge aspect, you will loveBirthright. It’s pretty much done in the same style, and is very accommodating for new players who also want to jump in for the first time....

(Update) All the best video game deals in Amazon’s Black Friday sale

So, what we’re left with is basically yesterday’s sale. Actually, in some ways, it’s worse because a lot of those games sold out so there are fewer deals....
