Extra content for this game is almost impressive in its arrogance
Aliens: Colonial Marines‘ long-awaited (haha) “Bug Hunt” downloadable content is now available on Steam, Xbox Live, and PlayStation Network. It’s a wave-based survival mode that, given the general brevity of the game’s hyped campaign, really ought to have been included as part of the launch package.
Instead, you may stump up $14.99 to get three maps of cooperative horde defense — unless you purchased the season pass for $29.99, in which case you get the mode alongside a fresh dose of feeling like the Lord of Chumps.
With Gearboxrecently releasing a 4GB patchin which it hunted down a shitload of bugs, the release of this content is humorously ironic, at least.
