Those of you still reeling from the inclusion of Ellen Ripley and a Xenomorph in Epic Games’Fortnitemight take a little comfort in the news that a new, more “on-brand” game is also in the works.Aliens: Fireteamis currently in development at Cold Iron Studios and is expected to launch this summer on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms.

Described as a co-op, third-person, survival shooter,Aliens: Fireteamwill see your band of hoo-rah marines arrive on the outer colonies in response to a sudden distress signal. Surprise, surprise, it’s fucking aliens. Players will squad up in teams of three to investigate LV-895, battling waves of Xenomorphs, Face-Huggers, and synthetic foes provided by everyone’s favorite scumbag corporation, Weyland-Yutani.
