Please make a Tarzan game

Amazon has been trying to get a foot in the door for a while when it comes to gaming. Originally it was the move into digital distribution, then it was thethe acquisition of Twitch.tv, and now it looks like it wants to develop its own games too.

Looking at their quote, it can probably be read as “we hired a buttload of ex-Valve people somehow, and don’t know what to do with them just yet” because that is a good seven or eight years of Valve’s history listed there. I reckon they were left mewling in a cardboard box on Amazon’s front step on a cold, rainy night.

We don’t know what they’re planning just yet, but it could be interesting to see what they come up with and how the game’s actually sold. Reassuringly, this probably suggests they’re developing something for the core gamers out there rather than a big casual F2P-fest.
