It’s a sports game I’m actually kind of excited about!Backbreaker Vengeanceis hitting Xbox Live Arcade on June 29!
I’d reluctantlypreviewed the game a few weeks back, and was shocked at how much fun I had. Based more on fast reflexes and an arcade-style scoring mechanic than any kind of sports rules, I had a blast with withVengeance‘s “Tackle Alley” mode. Chad, who faints when someone mentions football, alsofell in love with the game. What trickery is this!?
The game is also expected to hit PlayStation Network “later this summer.” I can’t say how the final product will turn out, but even if you don’t like sports, I’d say check out the demo. You might be surprised.
