BO6 and Warzone Season 2 release date and start time
According to theCall of DutyBlog,Black Ops 6andWarzoneSeason 2 starts onJan. 28 at 9 a.m. PT/11 a.m. CT/12 p.m. ET. As always, clearing out some storage room beforehand is essential for the new season’s preloads.
While waiting for Season 2’s release, you can hop on toBlack Ops 6now to claim rewards from the newSquid Gameevent. Check out the latest event pass to get Operators inspired by the hit show, including a classicSquid Gameplayer suit and the notorious Front Man. They’ll only be available until Jan. 24 once the event concludes.

BO6 and Warzone Season 2 features, explained
TheCall of DutyBlog’s Season 2 Overview goes over several new exciting features forBlack Ops 6,Zombies, andWarzone. You may have already noticed someupdates for the Richochet Anti-Cheat system, addressing the cheating issues with Ranked Play, Multiplayer, andWarzone. These updates are gradually rolling out, including anew and improved detection server for Season 2.
By Season 3, we’ll see a completely revamped Richochet Anti-Cheat system that’ll hopefully get the cheating under control. Besides the system update, all modes will receivefour new weapons and attachments(every item will be available upon launch except for the Mid-Season Belt-Fed):

You can acquire most of the weapons through the standard Battle Pass method, but a few items will require the completion of an event.Three eventshave already been confirmed, includingThe Terminator, Shadow Hunt, and St. Patrick’s Day. The Terminator will kick things off in early February, then the season will likely conclude by March with St. Patrick’s Day.
As you may have already guessed, The Terminator event correlates to a new Operator skin inspired by the beloved film series. Take on different forms with theTracer Pack: The Terminator, where you have the choice to be a cyborg or humanlike figure. A few other bundles will be included soon, and the LA Fire Relief Ultra Skin will continue to be available for Season 1 and 2.

Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Season 2 content
BO6Multiplayer features five new maps and four modes for Season 2:
Use thetwo new Perks, Slipstream and Hunter’s Instinct,for the new maps and modes. While Slipstream allows you to boost your sprint speed, Hunter’s Instinct marks the nearest enemy after eliminating another. You can also utilize the newWildcard Flyswatterto replace yourMelee weaponwith a Launcher and equip theWar Machine Scorestreakto unlock a powerful grenade launcher.

BO6 Zombies Season 2 content
Plenty of new features have been confirmed forBO6 ZombiesSeason 2, with the following content:
The upcoming season offers anewZombiesmap, The Tomb, which was previously mentioned after theCitadelle des Morts Main Quest. Explore a temple, either taking you inside the catacombs or out in the open at the excavation site. Utilize theStaff of Ice, the beloved Wonder Weapon fromOrigins, to survive through The Tomb.

Anticipate anewZombiesmusic Easter Eggfeaturing the rock and roll work of Kevin Sherwood. If you’re a longtime fan of the series, you’ve probably jammed it out to his manyCall of Dutysoundtracks, fromWorld at WartoBlack Ops Cold War. Musical Easter Eggs have become a tradition inZombies, especially inBlack Ops 6. It’s already been included in Liberty Falls,Terminus, andCitadelle des Morts, allowing you to listen to a unique soundtrack during playthroughs. With The Tomb, you may uncover another melodic secret by locating the hidden headphones around the map.
While you’re out collecting those headphones, you can eliminate zombies with thereturn of the classic SMG, the PPSh-41.You may remember this weapon fromBlack Ops 3,Call of Duty: WWII,Black Ops Cold War, and many other iterations. Apart from this, you can expect general quality-of-life updates, like theChallenge Tracker for Calling Cards and a Co-Op Pausefeature for the entire party. And, for those who go AFK, there’s no need to worry about losing out on gear when kicked for inactivity in the upcoming update.

Warzone Season 2 content
Unfortunately,WarzoneSeason 2 content has been pushed back while Treyarch works out the kinks of Battle Royale and BR Ranked. The only events on the horizon are The Terminator and Shadow Hunt, featured in early February. There’s still a fewnew perksto try withReactive Armor and Low Profile. Upon launch, you can up your defensive strategy with the Reactive Armor, regenarating up to 50 percent of your armor. Then, by the Mid-Season, the Low Profile Perk will be available, quickening your speed when crouching, proning, or downed.
We may see more features forWarzoneSeason 2, specifically during the Reloaded Mid-Season patch. But, if not, new content may not arrive until Season 3.
