Weapon balancing changes

Weapon buffs and nerfs are on the way to level the playing field when it comes to balancing on Ranked Play and other modes, with this update in particular being potentially more influential than others before it.

In thefull patch notes, Treyarch outlined sweeping changes to attachments for nearly every gun in the game, including the Short Barrel, Lightweight Foregrip, Precision Foregrip, Fast Motion Laser, Target Laser, and Combat Stock, among other specifics for individual weapons.

“When it comes to attachment balance, our goal is not for every attachment to be viable on every weapon,” Treyarch said. “That said, we want every attachment to have a place across the many builds and playstyles inBlack Ops 6.”
