If you’re a fan of old-world cosmic horror, then it’s a good season to be a Switch owner. Not only areThe Sinking CityandVampyrboth making their way to the Nintendo platform within the immediate future, but so is Cyanide’s grim adventureCall of Cthulhu.

First released for PC and consoles in October 2018,Call of Cthuluhas players take a peek into the troubled mind of investigator Edward Pierce, who is called out to 1920’s Boston after a mysterious fire wipes out an entire family. Upon arrival, it becomes quickly apparent to Pierce that there are forces at work beyond his comprehension, dark forces that claw at his troubled mind, attempting to pry away the remnants of his own sanity.

Call of Cthulhu, a bonafide sleeper hit, was quietly released to almost universal praise from critics. If you missed out on this skin-crawling adventure into a man’s nightmares, then maybe this new Switch port will get offer a new opportunity to get wrapped up in its slimy tendrils.
