Ahead of its release, Activision has released thefull launch plansfor the upcomingCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. BecauseCoD:MW3has an Early Access launch period, there are actually four separate times that are important. We’ve put together countdown timers for all the the times, so you know when you can jump into the fun.
First we have the preload time for the campaign Early Access. On November 1 at 1 p.m. ET, those with Early Access can preload just the campaign forCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This preload will go active on all platforms. (Battle.net, Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox)
One day later, theCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3campaign will go live on all platforms for those that have Early Access. The exact campaign Early Access release date is November 2 at 1 p.m. ET, so 24 hours after the preload.
Then, the day beforeCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3releases, players can preload the full game. This includes not only the campaign, but also Multiplayer and Zombies mode. This preload will go live for everyone on all platforms on November 8 at 1 p.m. ET.
Finally, we have the full game launch.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3is technically launches on November 10. However, depending on your location, it may actually be late night on November 9 that you will be able to access the full version of the game. Activision has indicated that they intend for the game to go fully live worldwide no later than 1 a.m. ET on November 10. On the west coast, that’s actually 10 p.m. PDT on November 9.
All of these countdown timers will automatically update to reflect the live status once the countdown hits zero.
