No game series in the world is more beautifully buttered up thanChō Aniki, and these beefy boys are about to mount the comeback of our dreams. After a sly tease,Edia officially revealed plansforChō Aniki Collectionon Nintendo Switch.
There’s no release date in place yet, but the collection promises Switch ports of the first two PC Engine games,Chō AnikiandAi Chō Aniki. According tothe newly-launched official website, the Switch versions aim to recreate the feel of the originals as closely as possible. New features that will appeal to a wide range of players are planned, but no further details were divulged.

Ab-solute leg-acy
You know who never skips leg day? The men ofChō Aniki. That’s been evident since the first entry in the series dropped on PC Engine back in 1992 as a horizontal shoot ’em up that absolutely delivers on its impressive package. Much of the series has remained in Japan, but there are a few entries that made their way stateside, even if some were left untranslated. In the unofficial world, last year sawthe launch of a fan translationfor Super Famicom entryChō Aniki: Bakuretsu Rantou Hen.
