Where the Hell do I begin?
Okay, so apparently David Hasselhoff, star ofBaywatchandKnightrider, has made a poston the official PlayStation Blogto announce that he is starring in the downloadable PS3 titlePAIN. Yeah … this is one of the most surreal stories I’ve written in a while.
“Hello everyone, it’s your friendly neighborhoodDavid Hasselhoffhere. I know you’re probably wondering “What inthe KITTam I doing on the PS Blog?” right? Well…settle down…settle down! I’m here to let you know straight from the Hoff’s mouth – I’m coming toPAIN!And it hurts so good! Don’t believe me,PEOPLE Magazinejustbroke the storyand I’m talking about it onmy blog.
What am I doing in PAIN you ask? It’sthe Movie Studio! What’s a movie studio without The Hoff? you’re able to now put The Hoff into a launcher and fling me into harm’s way – exploding crates, cars, people – everything is fair game. And best of all, you’ll never even put a scratch on this mug of mine!”
Not only is The Hoff’s likeness appearing inPAIN, the pop sensation of Germany has also recorded a cover version of Culture Club’s “Do You Really Want To Hurt Me” especially for the game. The new movie studio environment, complete with David Hasselhoff, is coming toPAINon November 6.
In the meantime, I’m going to resume staring blankly at my computer screen in twisted confusion.
