Indie designer Edmund McMillen wasn’t kidding when he saidThe Basement Collectionwould be releasing in late August. Described as “9 years of indie video game goodness with all the bells an whistles I could drum up along the way,” this compilation is slated to hit Steam (PC and Mac) on Friday, August 31.

For $4, you’ll getTime Fcuk,Aether,Spewer,Grey Matter,Triachnid,Meat Boy,Coil, and two secret games, not to mention tech demos, soundtracks, and lots of other bonus content. Take a look atMcMillen’s rundownof what’s included for yourself. This is one of those times when I’d feel stupidnotto buy.
