And its love of Sony

In preparation for the imminent beginning of gamescom, videogame billboards and posters are plastered all over Cologne, Germany. Many of PlayStation’s efforts are centered around promotingDriveclub. Europe does enjoy its racing games, after all.

Come October 8 whenDriveclubreleases, Europeans will have the option of picking up a slightly more unique version of the game. PlayStation recently revealed a special edition ofDriveclubthat’s exclusive to the continent, and features both physical and digital perks.

The tangible pack-ins for this special edition are “foil treated, unique artwork housed in a high-quality card sleeve,” and two vinyl stickers. The digital incentives are immediate access to five high-end cars (McLaren P1, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe Black Series, Ferrari 458 Italia, Aston Martin V12 Vantage S, and Alfa Romero 4C), and two livery packs to customize cars and club logos.

It doesn’t seem as if this edition ofDriveclubwill be exclusive to any particular retailer, as Sony mentions that it’s “coming to stores across Europe.” It’s suggested going price is€69.99. What, you didn’t think it’d cost a little extra to be part of an exclusive club?
