“In the coming days”

The Pitt returns toFallout 76, asBethesda has unveiled new detailsabout how theFallout 76PTS Pitt build will shake out, and what it’ll entail.

Nearly a year ago Bethesda revealed that The Pitt (Pittsburgh) would returnto theFalloutuniverse, and now it’s time to make good on that. The PTS (public test server) will be the earliest possible way to try out the upcoming update/expansion, which is centered around “repeatable missions that are tuned for higher-level players” in the form of expeditions.

Expeditions will have players heading to Whitespring Refuge to meet the Responders faction, and will task them will “charging up Ultracite Batteries” with three refuge daily quests to actually partake in said expeditions. Naturally The Pitt is a huge part of the update too, and is accessible via the “Union Dues” mission through the expedition system. Expeditions will cycle through three randomized objectives (including “several optional ones”), held together by an “overarching theme.” During this particular session, only Union Dues will be accessible, but a second mission is planned to be added later on. The update itself is slated for “later this year.”

As a bit of background on how The Pitt lines up with the rest of the universe in76, Bethesda provided this little lore nugget: “The Pitt is currently fraught with a power struggle between the Union, an industrious and diverse band of survivors working to rebuild the city, and the Fanatics, a gang of raiders looking to expand their territory.” Bethesda says theFallout 76PTS Pitt build will open up “in the coming days.”
