Tuesday marked the release of the first Tony Hawk game since the critically pannedShred. (Shreditself being the followup to the equally pannedRide.) While I’ve never been ahugefan of the skateboarding genre myself, I do have fond memories of playingthe originalback in college with my buddies, and would have loved an opportunity to recapture that feeling once again.
So can this latest game —Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD— recapture the glory days of the most X-treme of the X-treme sports? Unfortunately, it’s looking like “no.”
Still, that hasn’t stopped a few of you from expressing interest in playing tonight, so get after it! If mediocre skating games aren’t your thing, you could always join King Foom for a bit of Worms: Reloaded mayhem!
