During their press conference, Sony just revealed a brand new platformer for the PlayStation 3 calledPuppeteer. Looking very similar in style toLittleBigPlanet, the game is a very solid-looking 2D platformer with a unique mechanic: Using different heads to gain special powers (seriously, the boy-turned-puppet main character removes his head and replaces it with others), players are tasked with navigating through gorgeous stages, solving puzzles, and defeating massive bosses armed only with a pair of scissors.
Not much is known aboutPuppeteeroutside of its surprisingly impressive trailer, but what was shown looks very promising.
I love 2D platformers, and, outside of theLittleBigPlanetvisuals, this one gave me a veryDynamite Headyvibe. And I loveDynamite Heady. Can’t wait to learn .
