North American consumers will have that cover art on their shelves before the year is out, but unfortunately for Europeans, therewon’t be a PAL releaseof the game compilation until 2010. According to Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, it’s just not “possible” to launch a European version of the game this year.
“We are currently looking into options to bringGod of War IandIIto SCEE consumers on PS3; however it will not be possible to release the games this calendar year,” explains a rep. “We will provide further information in due course.”
I wonder when they decided to start making these remakes, if they don’t have time to release a port in Europe. This must have been a really, really quick job decided late in the year if this is the case. Still, the PS2 generation was a generation when Europe had itfarworse in terms of late releases, so at the very least, this could be considered an authentic last-gen experience for PAL consumers.
