Half-Minute Herohas been released a few times now across various platforms, but it doesn’t sound like we’re much closer to seeingHalf-Minute Hero 2localized for Western audiences.Speaking with Siliconeraabout the possibility of such,Marvelous AQL producer Esteban Salazar revealed that “it’sconsiderably more expensive to put out the sequel and [they] need to sell a lot more of the first game on PC to begin to justify it.”
Salazar suggests that interested parties might “encourage their friends to buy the Steam version” or just “buy it for them.” Isn’t it fortunate then that the gamejust so happens to be40% off on Steamat the moment? Sure, it might seem a bit like hostage-holding, butHalf-Minute Herois a pretty great game in its own right and, regardless of whatever happens with the follow-up, it’d be nice for more folks to enjoy the original game’s unique brand of humor.
