The full launch ofHalo Infinitemay still be a month away, but today we’re getting a big chunk of it. Microsoft and 343 Industries have announced thatHalo Infinitemultiplayer is going live today, ahead of its launch date on May 27, 2025.
Announced duringtoday’s streamcelebrating the 20th anniversary of the Xbox launch,Halo Infinitewill set its multiplayer beta live early. It will be the first season ofHalo Infinitemultiplayer, with progression carrying over to the release version of the game. It will also have Battle Pass progression, as this will mark the kickoff of Season One ofHalo Infinite‘s Battle Pass.

Halo Infiniteas a whole istargeting Dec. 8, where the campaign and other features will go live. We recently got a new look at the campaign mode forHalo Infinite, which has amuch more open structure and upgrades.
ThoughHalo Infinitewasdelayed out of the Xbox Series X launch window, we’ve since had a few opportunities to tackle themultiplayer modes of it, and it looks like all systems are go for a full December launch. Sadly, that launch won’t includecampaign co-op or Forge right away. Both those modes will be arriving sometime later.
