There’s been plenty of discussion around weapon balancing inHelldivers 2over the past few weeks, so it should come as no surprise that Arrowhead has focused in on that with April 29’s 01.000.3000 update. Check out the full patch notes to learn what’s been tweaked.
In total, 21Helldivers 2weaponshave received balance changes in this patch, with the CB-9 Exploding Crossbow adjusted the most. On top of that, twoStratagemshave also been addressed, with the Machinegun Sentry and Tesla Tower both receiving buffs.
All in all, none of these balancing changes are too monumental in my opinion, but they look like they’ll bring more options into the meta which is always welcome. The one thing I did think, however, was that I’m glad I didn’t buy theDemocratic Detonation Warbondwith the R-36 Eruptor in it, as it’s been nerfed less than a month after it was released.
Personally, I’m most excited about the sheer number of bug fixes addressed in this patch, especially those around crashes that I have been struggling with recently. I was crashing pretty regularly after the mission results screen, which was really annoying, so I’m glad that Arrowhead has fixed it.
