2017’s biggest Sony sellers

Last night, Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan held the PlayStation Awards 2017, an event to honour 2017’s biggest-selling games in the Japan and Asia territories. These awards are directly linked to actual product sales, rather than any sort of critique or panel-based judging.

A lot of the year’s best titles walked away with prizes, includingNieR: Automata, Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted, YakuzaandResident Evil 7. Awards are given to games based on milestone sales met or, in some cases, for “special contributions” to the PlayStation platform.
