Fishing is one of several new additions inPalworldthat will allow you to increase the count of Aqua Pals in your collection.

Added as part of the Tides of Terraria update, fishing isn’t directly related to the collab. Instead, it has been added to the list of core activities that you can complete in the game. In fact, you can also assign a Pal to fish for you. But let’s first check out how you can fish inside the game.

The player character from Palworld holds a blue fishing rod as ice and water types surround them.

How to fish in Palworld

To fish in the game, you’ll need to have a Fishing Rod set. Here are the different types available in the Technology tree.

I have also added the technology level and individual ingredients of all the recipes.

Next, you’re going to need bait. So far, I haven’t found a natural spot where you can fish without it. There are four types of baits available in the current version:

Baits of higher rarity will have better chances of grabbing the rarer Pals, but you’ll also require more ingredients.

Once you’ve added the Fishing Rod and bait to your inventory, you’re all set for fishing. First, move the rod to your equipment slot (just like you would for your pickaxe or gun).

That’s pretty much all you have to do to become an expert angler inPalworld.
