A poll onHow Long to Beatof 69 players who have completed the main story inStarfieldaverages the campaign out to just under 19 hours in length, with a quick playthrough sitting at around 14 hours and a leisurely one at 28 hours.
However, that’s not the full story when it comes toStarfield. You would have to have an almost iron will to go through the game withoutanyexploring outside of the main campaign. If you want to experience everything theStarfielduniverse has to offer, you could be looking at up to 300 hours of playtime to achieve 100% status.
The average playtime for all styles of play from 143 polled gamers is currently just under 48 hours. Nonetheless, we expect that number to increase as more players live their galactic lifestyles of choice.
Skyrim, which has much more data to draw from, has an average playtime of 126 hours for all playstyles. A leisurely completionist playstyle is a whopping 1381 hours. Given the size of theStarfielduniverse, it wouldn’t be surprising to see players get up to those kinds of hours in the game.
Yet, if you’re a run-and-gun, no-frills player, under 19 hours for just the main story isn’t too time consuming.
