Pokémon Go’sbig Bug Out event is here and runs from March 26 to 30 in-game. It offers a host of new challenges and introduces Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch.

On top of the new spawns, there are a host of Timed Research and Collection Challenges that are only available for the next four days, with each offering unique encounters for completing set objectives. As there are so many on offer and the game doesn’t do a good job of telling you what you unlock for completing each one, we put together a comprehensive list of everything on offer so you can decide for yourself if catching over 100 Bug-type Pokémon is worth the reward.

There are two lots of Timed Research available during Bug Out 2025, one being free and the other being a paid ticket. The paid ticket offers a bunch of extra rewards including some regional exclusives, so it’s worth the purchase for a new player looking to beef up their Pokédex.

As for the Collection Challenges, there are three this time around based on various Bug-type Pokémon and their evolutions. Evolving Wurmple might be a bit of a grind but most of them give simple Sizzlipede Encounters, which is great for those looking for one with good stats for the Battle League.
