If you’re like me, you didn’t even realize there was an achievement for defeating three enemies at once with a flash grenade intheResident Evil 4remake. Typically I save them for clutch situations, when I’m cornered by a Plagas-ridden enemy, but rarely do I have three or more in my midst. There’s a super easy way to clear this achievement though if you’re on Chapter 8. Here’s how!
Near the start of Chapter 8 (in the Wine Cellar) is a super easy room to get the shield your eyes achievement/trophy
As Chapter 8 picks up, Leon has just been separated with Ashley, and you’ll start off in a courtyard (bonus tip: go knife/shoot some fish in the pond on the left to get some free health recovery items!). Enter the door if you want to save again/meet The Merchant, then head into the castle to enter the wine cellar. Here, you’ll be greeted by a red cultist,who creates Plagas enemies(read: cultists who have bugs as heads) en masse: starting to see why this is a great opportunity for the achievement/trophy?
All you need to do is create Plagas enemies by shooting their heads (multiple will be available at the start of the encounter) and make sure there arethree within reach of a flash grenadeat once. Let that flash grenade fly and take them all out to pop the shield your eyes achievement/trophy. you’re able to find the exact location of the Wine Cellar in the gallery above.
