One of the biggest and most exciting additions toThe Sims 4with theBusinesses and Hobbiesexpansion pack is a whole new tattoo system. Not only can your sim now be inked from head to toe with custom art, but they can now become a tattooist themselves.
TheBusinesses and Hobbiespack came with a lot of new ink to put on your sim, but a lot of it is locked behind gameplay within the Create a Sim menu. Unless you want to use theCAS unlock cheat, you’ll need to work through a whole career tattooing before you’re able to unlock them all.

How to unlock new tattoos in The Sims 4: Businesses and Hobbies
There are three ways to unlock new tattoos inBusinesses and Hobbies. By doing all of these things, you’ll be able to unlock plenty of new ink for your Sims. However, none of this comes easy, so you’ll need to be willing to put in the work:
Playing through a career in tattooing and increasing your skill level will unlock new designs, stamps, and stencils that can be used to create a truly unique work of art on your Sim’s skin inThe Sims 4.
All unlockable tattoo designs in The Sims 4: Businesses and Hobbies
30 new tattoo designs can be unlocked through tattooing and its associated activities in The Sims 4. Here’s how you can unlock them all, and pictures of every design so you know what you want to aim for.
These 11 designs will likely be unlocked at a low level, before your skill increases a bit. You’re free to practice your designs on any willing test subject Sim for the cause, but they might not be happy with the results. Each bad tattoo is unlocked for the same body part on which you’ll need to tattoo the other Sim.
Tattoos unlocked by skill level
The following nine tattoo designs are unlocked as you level up your Tattooing skill, with one for every level you achieve aside from level one.
Tattoos unlocked via the Digitalistic Sketchpad
You’ll practice your tattoo design skills on the Digitalistic Sketchpad, and with every design that you complete, you’ll have a chance to unlock one of nine new tattoo designs depending on your current skill level. These aren’t guaranteed, but if you keep drawing on the Sketchpad, you’ll unlock them all eventually.
All unlockable tattoo stamps and stencils in The Sims 4: Businesses and Hobbies
There are also nine new Stamp designs and two full-body Stencils that can be unlocked as you increase your Tattooing skill level. These can be found within the Paint Mode when adding tattoos in Create a Sim.
