It’s been a long time coming, but the heavily anticipated documentaryIndie Game: The Moviewill finally make its debut this week. The film will premiere to an audience — that, let’s be honest, couldn’t care less about videogames — at Sundance Film Festival. As part ofFlixist‘son-site Sundance 2012 coverage, I sat down with the filmmakers behind this ambitious project.

Head over to Flixistto hear us discuss the project’s origin, the challenges they faced, and what videogame documentaries may be in-store for the future. For more indie gaming goodness, head over toFlixiston Monday for a full review and look for a batshit crazy interview with myself, Jonathan Holmes, and Team Meat here on Dtoid.
