Whenwe last heardabout Michel Gagne and Fuelcell Games’ independent projectInsanely Twisted Shadow Planet, it seemed as if the game was likely going to get a release on Xbox LIVE Arcade. I mean, just look at this thing! Have youseen the traileryet? It looks effing phenomenal.

Even still, I must admit I was getting a little worried for a while there. In the end, the powers that be have made everything okay —Insanely Twisted Shadow Planetis indeed making it to XBLA, according to Fuelcell.

I don’t know what the sudden interest in 2D indie games from WiiWare and XBLA is all about, but frankly, it’s reassuring that someone with the property authority understands how this is exactly the kind of content many of us seek to obtain from these two digital distribution services.
