Developer Jagex revealed a plethora of new content for its beloved MMO during theOld School RuneScapeSummer Summit 2024 livestream. This includes new quests, bosses, and Project Zanaris, a brand-new community servers initiative.

The Summer Summit is a chance for Jagex to show what it’s been working on forOld School RuneScapethat’s still to come to the game this year and beyond. The game was initially released in 2013 and drew in far more players than expected thanks to its focus as an MMO experience that many remember growing up with before the originalRuneScapewas updated. As a result, new content for the game took a while to get into a rhythm, but this year leading into 2025 might be the biggest the game has ever seen.
