I feel like I’m always gushing aboutKiller Instincton Xbox One, but that’s partially because it defied expectations and carved a very nice niche for itself inside the FGC. Ever since launch its co-development team has been working on the “Shadow” mechanic, which allows for a smarter AI that resembles a human opponent.
Watching this video, it’s crazy to see how advanced this concept really is. The idea is to create an asynchronous copy of a real person, who engages in meta-combat based on play you’d see in big-time tournaments. If there’s a Season 3 or a new iteration, I can’t wait to see how much they fine-tune it.
