Branching dialogue paths too
Due to a massive Game Informer article we now have a lot more information onFinal Fantasy XV, beyond the news that it’s gettinga spinoff game,anime seriesand film, anda second demo.
Director Hajime Tabata talks a bit about how they inevitably moved away from the connection to the Fabula Nova Crystallis series (as it was originally conceived asVersus XIII), and that the story focuses on “friendship, destiny, and legacy.” Like some past games it will start with a boss battle in a new location as a tutorial of sorts, then shift into Chapter 1 with Noctis and his friends hitting the road. The open world will arrive early on.

There’s lots more like branching dialogue choices that can lead to more stat bonuses, combat is more responsive sincetheDuscaedemo, you can store things in the trunk of your car, the radio plays classicFinal Fantasymusic, and there are “over 200 quests” in the game.
