First monitors debut at CES this week

Monitor makers will be showing off their new models that support Nvidia’s new G-SYNC technology here at CES this week. This tech synchronizes the monitor refresh rate with the GPU’s rendering to make problems like tearing and stuttering go away. It is also supposed to minimize lag and make gameplay smoother.

At their press conference this evening they said that makers like ASUS, BenQ, ViewSonic, AOC and Philips are a ready to show off their latest at the show, so we’ll be checking those out.
