Great,anotherOuya update. This one’s pretty cool, though. Namco Bandai has just revealed that they’re working with Ouya to bring some of their franchises to the upcoming console. Here’s the word from Carlson Choi, Namco Bandai’s VP of marketing:

Namco Bandai Games and Ouya are currently in active discussions to bring some of the world’s biggest gaming properties to the exciting new open gaming platform. Namco Bandai brings with it a rich history of iconic gaming franchises, from classics like Pac-Man and Galaga, to seminal franchises like Tekken and Ridge Racer, and we’re excited to explore how we can work with Ouya to bring some great titles to the forthcoming console.

Both companies are asking fans to cast votes for what games they’d like to see on Ouya.

TheKickstarterupdate also revealed that Ouya will support four controllers. Those that want to be sure to get four controllers on day one need to update their pledge, adding $90 to get three extra controllers with their order.
