Duringtoday’s Nintendo Direct, Capcom announced a remastered version of the 2006 handheldMonster Hunter-themed RPG. Originally only on mobile and Nintendo 3DS, the remasteredMonster Hunter Storieswill now come to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam this summer. InMonster Hunter Stories, players embark on a journey to the world ofMonster Hunterwhere mighty monsters roam and people make al giving by hunting them. However, in a small village hidden deep in the land, locals form bonds with monsters instead of hunting them and become Monster Riders instead of Monster Hunters....

‘Right On!’ The arcade fans at Hamster have pulled another ’80s classic out of their big bag of licences, slapping it onto Nintendo Switch for a whole new generation of players. This week sees the return of one of the grandfathers of the shmup genre,Moon Cresta. Released by Nichibutsu way back in 1980,Moon Crestais a basic vertically scrolling shmup which sees players pilot a space vessel through the galaxy, taking on waves of incoming enemies....

Motion and icon problems Nintendo just dropped a new update on Switch last night: version 5.0.2. It’s a quick update, but it manages to squash a few bugs that have been lingering for a while. “Resolved an issue that caused motion controls to respond incorrectly when playing games that use the feature,” is a pretty obvious positive change, as having something deadzone or glitch out was a pain (which is something that hasn’t happenednearlyas much as it did on the Wii for me), as well as “Resolved an issue that caused user icons for recommended friends to not display correctly,” which helps avoid confusion when adding people....

People have been voicing their problems withRainbow Six Vegasin the Ubisoft forums and it seems to be helping. The developers of the game went through all of these issues and used their newfound knowledge to work on an upcoming patch. Gimme a hell yeah! WhileXbox Live had PayPal downpat in 2009 (and Valve had it implemented in Steam way before that), in true Sony fashion, they’re delivering a classic old feature in 2013. That’s right —the PSN now takes PayPal bucksin North America. I can’t tell you how amazing this feature is for people who are scared to link their credit card after the PSN hacking scare. Instead of going out to the store or buying cards online, you can just link your secured PayPal account and call it a day....
