Hearthstonerecently released its latest expansion,Rise of Shadows. As the first expansion released this year, all cards that were released in 2017, in addition to a few other unhealthy cards, were removed from the game’s Standard format. With so many changes to the available card pool happening at once, it can be a daunting task to create a new deck, especially with a finite amount of Arcane Dust available to craft new cards....

Sony chooses not to release on Russian PSN Yesterday, publisher Activision did a (sort of) surprise drop forCall of Dutyfans, releasing a remastered edition of its infamousModern Warfare 2single-player campaign. However, the new release didnotshow up on the Russian PlayStation Store, and is apparently unlikely to do so anytime soon. A translated tweet taken from theRussianCall of DutyTwitter accountreads thus: “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remasteredis a completely fictional 2009 campaign, recreated in HD quality....

Microsoft demagogue and game developer Peter Molyneux has assured us all that Kinect won’t kill videogame controllers. That’s a relief, because Kinect is so hot looking that we were sure it would eliminate all other forms of interactivity. That last sentence was sarcasm. “Games controllers have been designed for two decades, and they’re not going anywhere, they will continue to evolve,” states Molyneux. “I don’t think motion control, in itself, will cause the death of standard controllers....

Sanhok It took a bilingual portmanteau of sorts, butPUBG‘s third and smallest map has a real name. The4×4 kilometer map that was formerly called “Savage” has been officially named “Sanhok.” (It’s pronounced “Sah-knock,” I think.) The reasoning behind this name is a bit convoluted. PUBG Corp. took the Thai word for fun (pronounced sah-nook) and the Tagalog word for chicken (pronounced mah-nok), and mashed them together into this newly-invented word. Bimmy and Jimmy set to return? Boutique publisher Retro-Bit Gaminghas posted an image on Twitterteasing aBattletoadsannouncement for tomorrow, April 19. While the image does not explicitly name any franchise in question, it seems to quite clearly point to Rare’s goofy brawler seriesBattletoads, and in particular classic crossover titleBattletoads/Double Dragon. The image, which you’re able to check out for yourself in the tweet below, features the shades of scaly scrapper Rash and the belt of Pimple, also accompanied by a set of brass knuckles and a pair of nunchucks....
