If you can actually pull this stuff off Titanfall‘s highly anticipatedbetaformally kicks off today, and if you’re lucky enough to have an invite, there’s a lot to learn in a short amount of time. The game has its own set of quirks, and once mechs get introduced to the match, it gets hectic enough that it becomes tough to figure some stuff out on the fly. Just a cool little story for your Monday afternoon Although Blizzard has been undeniably changed by its association with Activision, there are glimmers of the old wild west community-centric company that frequently pop up. TheHeroes of the Stormteam (likeOverwatch) has notably acknowledged the game’s community in various locations like reddit and the official forums, and this recent interaction brought a smile to my face. Heroes’ Raynor was due for a rework, and originally, Blizzard was going to stick with term “Acquire Weak Spot” for his passive trait (every fourth basic attack splashes in a small area and deals 125% more damage to the primary target)....

Developers are concentrating on bigger textures, lossless sound, and zero compression. Even patches can be multiple GB, many of them required on release. This latest courtroom soiree revolves around the publisher’s use of the word “Warzone” in the title of its uber-successful battle royale releaseCall of Duty: Warzone. The problem began back in June 2020, when Activision filed trademarks with the U.S. patent office for “Warzone” and “Call of Duty: Warzone” as applied to its free-to-play shooter....
