We saw our first full electrified combat sequence– set a year later, in Harlem, as the Tinkerer leads an army– during this afternoon’s PlayStation 5 Showcase event. Miles Moraleswill be a $50 purchase on PS5 and PS4 (you only need to buy it once), and on PlayStation 5, Insomniac is also releasingMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredwith all of the DLC included....

All without the PC version, too Capcom has announced thatMonster Hunter: Worldhas become the fastest shipping title to hit six million units in Capcom’s history. After breaking a series record forshipping five millionunits in three days,Worldis now closing in on becoming one of Capcom’s best selling games of all time. ‘He looks inside friends’ is the best euphemism It feels likeStarboundhas been in development for a long time now. Sure, it’s playable, but it is not complete. Perhaps a similarly styled game that is not quite so ambitious may tide us all over. Perhaps we want to control a character who bears an odd resemblance toVVVVVV‘s Captain Viridian. PerhapsMoonmanis just the game to sate those desires. Moonmanfeatures a lot of the same stuff asStarbound(and its predecessorTerraria)....

As part of the Dread XP stream, Disordered Media has announced that their demo for theupcoming OS Sim horror game,Oneway.exeis releasing today. It’s available for PC. I got early access to the demo, and I’m going to be honest: it’s not for me. That’s not a gentle way of saying it sucks; it’s just not my kind of game. It doesn’t gel with me. How do you thinkSin and Punishment: Star Successoris going to sell? My guess is that like so many other “smaller” Wii games, people are going to wait for the price drop, then forget all about it which will cause the game to tank. That will be especially damaging in this instance, as the game is published by Nintendo, so that price drop will never happen. Maybe gamers will consider this offer from Nintendo/Gametop as a pre-release price-drop....

Developer Human Head’sPrey 2, recently considered vaporware much to the chagrin of all of us whofell head over heelsfor theBladerunner-esque title two years ago, resurfaced recently following someunexpected rumors. Namely, it seems that Human Head’s work on (and association with) the project seems to have been scrapped. The game will still exist under the namePrey 2, but essentially as a wholly new title developed by Arkane Studios (Dishonored) and slated for a far off 2016 release....
