Sony Pictures has spent a reported seven-figure sum acquiring the rights to make a movie about Steve Jobs, based on his authorized autobiography. The autobiography is due October 24 and is written by Time Magazine managing editor Walter Isaacson. Indie games are vital if the PlayStation Vita is to succeed, said Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida in aninterview with Gamasutra.
