PEAKhas been out for nearly a week now, and as millions of us have picked up the game, I’m curious to know just how many players have managed to reach the top of the mountain, and who is still searching for their first win. Whether it’s as a solo player or as a part of a team, the game is tough to complete, with a different island spawning every day. I have managed to beat it solo, albeit by getting very lucky with my item and equipment drops, including a couple of chain cannons to help me get across the inside of the mountain, but have yet to beat the game on anything other than Tenderfoot difficulty due to a lack of friends to play it with....

Earlier in the weekwe reportedthat there would be no fix coming for the barely legible text inBanjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. The text was so small that it rendered the game practically worthless for SDTV owners, and wasn’t much easier to read in Hi-Def. Rare was quoted as saying that a fix would be far too expensive to implement but it seems that, possibly due to nasty fan backlash,minds have been changedand the text will now be altered....
