Set in a future where meteorites make the surface of the earth uninhabitable and force mankind to live underground, unmanned robots are developed to work outside the subterranean shelters. It sounds like bored teenagers start using these things for sport at some point, battling one another in five-on-five competitive battles....

The final first season DLC character Street Fighter Vhas had a pretty fantastic season of characters. I mean, the original release had a diverse cast with distinctly different fighting styles, but the DLC has been something else. Urien is the last of the lot (for season one anyway), as theStreet Fighter IIIshirt-ripping fiend returns with a new snazzy costume and zoning control by way of slow moving projectiles, as well as a V-Skill that grants him armor and a V-Trigger that reflects stuff....

Good times messing with the laws of quantum mechanics During the Microsoft’s press conference, Remedy Entertainment co-founder and Max Payne impersonator Sam Lake introduced the audience to a bit more information on their upcoming Xbox One exclusive,Quantum Break. The trailer showcases a rather tense moment between three individuals trapped in a state of limbo. The first thing that really caught my was the incredible amount detail in the characters’ faces and animations, along with the well done voice work....

Start spreading the news A one-two punch of news for fans of shooter sequelThe Division 2, as Ubisoft has announced that the riotous team-based title will be headed to the Stadia platform on March 17, a little over a year after its original release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. The Stadia edition ofThe Division 2will launch with all previous DLC drops, and will also support cross-play with PC users, provided players are willing to sync up their Uplay and Stadia accounts....

Set to ship this week I backed the Mega Man Board Game Kickstarter at its lowest level nearly two years ago, and now, it’s finally ready to ship. Jasco games has announced that the final editions of the game will arrive in their warehouses today, at which point, stock will be assessed and backer copies will be shipped. After that, the plan is to move into other brick and mortar locations....

Vietnam is the new go to war for videogames to cash in on real life wars! 1C Company is well aware of that and that’s where one of their next RTS games,Men of War: Vietnam, will take place. Players will be in control of multiple elite special ops soldiers as they take on missions ranging from rescue ops to full on battles. The developers are going for an authentic feel and the environments, buildings and the like are all created as realistically as possible....

Best of 2012 Even for those who aren’t intoplayingfighting games so much as watching those with far greater skill compete, the raw energy and spectacle of the genre make it one of gaming’s most exciting. This year saw notable releases from the usual franchises, as well as some less expected games that brought in players who might otherwise avoid partaking in this form of competition. Untethered and tethered, respectively It’s a huge day for Oculus VR, as they’re getting ready to ship two brand new projects today: the Oculus Quest (the untethered system that runs higher-end games than the previous Oculus Go model) and the Oculus Rift S (the PC-dependent traditional VR headset, which has fully replaced the original 1.0 “Rift” SKU).
