Voxel-y dungeon crawling with friends

In today’s short and not-so-sweet State of Play stream from PlayStation, we got a fresh look atRiverbond, a hackin’, slashin’, shootin’ cooperative dungeon crawler coming this summer. I hadn’t heard of the game before, and many of you may probably say the same thing, but now I’m listening.

Riverbondhas recruited a number of existing indie game characters to help raise its profile. I was feeling the footage before the familiar faces started popping up, which is always how I want to approach crossovers like this. The current list includes: Robot 05 (Planet of the Eyes), Demelza (Knights and Bikes), Lover Mu (Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime), Juan (Guacamelee!), The Kid (Bastion), Raz (Psychonauts), Shovel Knight (Shovel Knight), and Bullet Kin (Enter the Gungeon). The style suits them well.
