Sega’s awesome mech battle seriesVirtual Onis headed to the PS4, with the first three titles having been announced for release during a broadcast by Tanita Official.
For those less inclined, theVirtual Onarcades are a series of arena-fighters that feature huge mechs battling it out in technically charged, explosive warfare. Arcade and Sega Saturn releaseVirtual On: Cyber Troopersleads the pack, followed by Dreamcast titleCyber Troopers Virtual-On Oratorio Tangram,and finally Japan-only Xbox 360 releaseCyber Troopers Virtual-On Force.
If that wasn’t enough, Tanita Official also revealed that the re-releases will be compatible with the special Twin-Stick controller thatthe company is currently crowdfunding, ahead of the release ofA Certain Magical Virtual-On. This will allow for that authenticVirtual Onexperience. No further details pertaining to price or release date have been announced.
