Ubisoft has made cuts to seven scenes
[Update: The PC version ofThe Stick of Truthwill be censored in the following regions: Germany, Austria, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.]
Eurogamer has had a look at a document that claimsUbisoft has cut seven scenes inSouth Park: The Stick of Truthin Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The cuts are only happening on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions but not the PC version and affect two mini-games involving abortion and five scenes involving an anal probe.
All scenes have been replaced by a static image with text written by Trey Stone and Matt Parker. These appear to be the same cuts that have been made to the game at the end of 2013in Australia to secure an R18+ rating. It seems these cuts have been made to avoid the same issues in the likes of Germany as in Australia.
