Kick dirt in Kickstarter backers’ faces

Wasteland 2finally hit betafor its Kickstarter backers. Those of you who adopted the John Dorian “wait and see” approach, however, are free to cackle embarrassingly at all the chumps who plunked down their coin mad early, because you can slip right on into the sameWasteland 2beta throughSteam Early Access.

Now, the catch is that you’ll still have to pay $60 for early access — much higher than typical — because that was what Kickstarter backers paid for the beta access tier. Can’t screw over the folks that funded development. If you wait for the full game to release, it will be cheaper, though the $60 early access will also net you some extras, including a copy of the originalWasteland.
