Dragon Quest Builders 2 debuts in Top Five
Nintendo’s platform-builderSuper Mario Maker 2has managed to hold on for a third week in the number one spot of the UK charts, fending off persistent, aggressive attempts from Activision’sCrash Team Racing Nitro-Fueledto usurp the creative Switch release.
Speaking of creativity, Square EnixDragon Quest Builders 2has managed to debut at number five with almost 70% of its total retail sales coming from the Switch release, accordingto a report by Gamesindustry.biz. Elsewhere in the charts, NetherRealm’sMortal Kombat 11continues to enjoy a sales boost, allowing it to gain further footing within the Top Ten.

The only other title to make a major move was, of all games,Hollow Knight, which made a very surprising re-entry in the Top 40 at number 34. As far as the retail-purchasing UK public is concerned, the summer drought is real.
