There’s anotherBreath of the Wild Second Windfan modupdate out in the wild, which is taking on the gargantuan task of providing 12 boss battles through the “Labors of the Hero” questline.
Modshave been a longstanding tradition in theBreath of the Wildcommunity, but Second Wind continues to amaze me. The newest clips on the block include the “Octo-Boss” and “Talus Lord” battles, which are repurposed confrontations from existing assets, done in a very clever way.
It’s all a lovely way to keep the game alive beyond the two DLCs that Nintendo put out. And I wonder constantly if Nintendo wish that they had done more forBreath of the Wildin terms of post-launch support, given how it blew up. But that’s commonplace for Nintendo games that do exceedingly well: wondering whether or not Nintendo cares if they supported a game long term. In due time the sequel will be out for $60, andBreath of the Wildwon’t get a permanent price drop, so there’s going to be some retail synergy between the two.
