“Lightning fast dungeon crawler” may seem like an oxymoron, but the trailer above forThe Hero Trapshows what it means by that: frenetic action gameplay within an ever-changing combination of dungeon arenas.
To be honest, I was ready to write this one off, but the unique set of characters is what hooked me. Rather than the tired old fantasy archetypes of knight, archer, mage, and the like,The Hero Trapboasts unique heroes like a flamethrower-wielding pyro or a bear wearing a luchador mask.
The Hero Trapis currently running aKickstarter campaign, with a funding goal of only $25,000. It has plans to release on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita.
