Now’s one hell of a time to be alive if you’re a fan ofSystem Shock. Not only isSystem Shock 3on the way, but there’s alsoa complete HD remakeof the first game in the works by Night Dive Studios, the team who gave us the enhanced re-releases of bothSystem ShockandSystem Shock 2.
We’ve finally been blessed with some gameplay footage of the remake, anddangis it looking good. It might be a bit heavy on the bloom for my taste, but it’s still looking like a mighty fine upgrade from the post-Wolfenstein, pre-Quake-era graphics of the source material.
Night Dive hasn’t announced a release date yet, but it’s currently set to launch on PC and Xbox One when the time comes.
