A remaster of the classic Stan Bush track “The Touch” — from the 1986Transformers: The Moviesoundtrack — is now available as a free download forGuitar Hero: World Tour. Yes, right now on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and the Wii Shop. PlayStation Network will update later, and you can expect to download the track then if you have one of them there PlayStation 3s. This is good news, I’m sure you’ll all agree.
Less exciting — depending on your love for Australian rock bands, of course — is that Wolfmother’s upcoming single “Back Round” is now available for download on the officialGuitar Hero 5Web site. The song will appear on Wolfmother’s upcoming albumCosmic Egg, and will also be one of the tracks playable inGuitar Hero 5. A registration is required for download, and that’s something I’m just not willing to go through to hear a new Wolfmother song.
