Call of Duty: Black Ops IIrevealed its multiplayer this weekwith a new trailer, and you better believe that people on the Internet had opinions about it! There’s been a huge backlash againstCall of Dutyever sinceModern Warfare 3, and it’s more than visible in thecomments sectionof the reveal trailer on Youtube.
Right now, there is an even split between those claiming the game is just the same old crap, and those saying there’s fartoo muchnew crap. The video — which has 48,577 Likes and 10,051 Dislikes — also has a lot of comments suggesting Treyarch ripped offHalo. Apparently, the move to a futuristic setting has madeBlack Ops IIa carbon copy of Bungie’s shooter series.
There are plenty of people defending the game, too. Some of them are praising the new futuristic equipment, while ten billion comments trot out the old “You’re all going to buy it anyway” chestnut.
